Tim Zhang graduated from the University of British Columbia and Peking University’s Guanghua School of Management. He is an experienced investor and serial entrepreneur and has accumulated extensive expertise in technology company operations and venture investment, with a strong focus on cutting-edge fields such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), clean energy, artificial intelligence (AI), edge computing, robotics, and blockchain.

In 2016, Tim Zhang became the first external investor in Archiact, serving as an early shareholder and later as a co-founder. He was responsible for leading the company’s strategic expansion, operations management, and investment-related activities in the Chinese market. Archiact is a globally renowned VR/AR software development and publishing studio headquartered in Vancouver, with additional offices in Toronto and Shanghai. The company collaborates extensively with major IPs and content platforms in China and North America, spanning product development and market distribution. Under Tim Zhang’s leadership, the team successfully launched multiple in-house and third-party VR games on platforms such as Huawei, Samsung China, iQIYI, Pico, and HTC. He also played a key role in the company’s financing strategy and long-term growth planning. Between 2016 and 2022, Archiact achieved a 100x increase in valuation, delivering substantial capital returns for Tim Zhang.

Besides his involvement at Archiact, he actively expanded his investment portfolio across multiple sectors, successfully investing in companies such as UTU Technology, a blockchain firm based in Toronto; Happy Lamb Hot Pot, a globally recognized restaurant chain; and Avic Biology, a biotechnology company. These companies have all experienced significant market growth, generating notable capital returns.

In 2024, Tim Zhang founded Dowill Holding with a mission to integrate expertise in technology and finance, establishing multiple investment funds to identify and support high-growth potential projects. Currently, the company has made strategic investments in Canada’s healthcare, artificial intelligence, and semiconductor industries while continuously expanding into a variety of assets in emerging markets. Through these initiatives, Dowill Holding aims to continuously identify early investment opportunities and generate outstanding returns for its investors.
